Our Process

A successful remodel project starts at the very beginning and this is where most projects de-rail because there are a lot of “contractors” who do not have a process and they allow the homeowner to push them into a schedule that they cannot possibly meet. So to avoid that we have a proven process we follow. Below is our process for getting started:

Visit the site to review conditions, discuss goals and offer ideas. Free 30 minute consultation.

This stage includes on-site measurements, photos, possible site visit with architect and/or engineer. We will verify all set-backs, zoning issues and the FEMA 50% Rule where applicable. From your ideas and requests, we will then create a schematic plan with options (when needed) for your approval. Based on that approved design and notes we have taken from our prior discussions with you about your finishes, we will write a Scope of Work. From all of that, we are now able to develop accurate costs for the job. The development fee is based on what we see when we visit the site but will range from as little as $250 for a kitchen design (no structural issues) up to $2000, more for 2nd floor room additions and new custom homes.

Present drawings, including 3D renderings of the job, floor plan that includes electrical, plumbing (if any) along with written scope and pricing.

Make changes as required by you (if any), adjust price if needed

Enter into contract, finalize plans, apply for permit, etc.

Make selections of all items needed for the remodel

Schedule production

Hold pre-construction conference
